The really big problem with having the Avenue Q soundtrack stuck in your head is the variety of places and times when you absent-mindedly sing the lyrics.

Last week I walked past vanguardcdk's room absently singing "Everyone's a little bit racist, sometiiiimes..." It didn't go unnoticed.

But to have the elevator doors at work open while the lyric "Why you think the net was born? Porn, porn, porn!" is escaping your lips... oh the shame.

I've been whistling "The Internet is for Porn" myself! Bad. "grab your dick and double click" is just not one of those lyrics that goes over well.

The Avenue Q soundtrack earworm is the new "Uncle Fucka". Seriously. Catchy as hell, profane too, and unwittingly forcing you to sing along.

Oh, Avenue Q is dangerous that way! I've been lucky enough to have had most of my inner jukebox taken up with Putnam County Spelling Bee, which is much safer.

Well, except for "My Uncomfortable Erection".

...and "I'm Not that Smart", come to think of it.

...and parts of "My Friend, the Dictionary".

Oh, drat.
