Cat barf, on my new book. Right along the outer edge so that every page gets its equal share of yak.

SQUEE

.

Love them anyway.

It was The Future Is Wild, the very cool speculative science book about future species of animals after humans are extinct. 2,000,000 years from now, I wonder what hyper-evolved cats will be barfing on?

Oh, and did I tell you the story of why I bought a second copy of Moving Pictures?

Dropped it in the toilet as I was putting it in my backpack. And I was halfway through it and planning to read it on the plane.

No cats to blame for that one, though.

Perhaps your experience was because your cats didn’t want the dangerous truth in that book to fall into the hands of meddling humans. :-)

Oh no! :-) We both had bad luck with books!

I think a great idea would be to have a web database of people's "dropped in the toilet" stories. People could submit their stories, and even tag them for catagorical searches, like "flashlights" or "tiaras." The best ones could be in the monthly spotlight!

I don't have anything to add. Just wanted to use my cat barf icon.
