Mazel Tov!

Yesterday I was honored to be able to attend the beautiful wedding of hammercock and trowa_barton. After months of hard work and planning, they pulled it off gloriously. It was one of the prettiest and warmest weddings I've ever attended. And their flower girl was an R2D2 robot!

hammercock looked so exquisite in her gown and regal hair styling, and trowa_barton was his ever-dashing self. The ceremony space featured a real pipe organ, and we got to enjoy a lovely concert before the processional began. The entire wedding was a perfect interface of opulence and geekiness. After the vows, the newlyweds marched back down the aisle to the Star Wars theme rendered on the pipe organ. Their elegant First Dance at the reception was followed by a choreographed husband and wife light sabre battle!

I wish beowabbit had been able to attend with me, but I did sneak in a call to him in New York. There was a sea of familiar faces, and the bride and groom do indeed have a family of hundreds.

I didn't bring a camera (I'm a very bad photographer) so I'm waiting for other people's photos to surface. I'l sure there will be a lot of great ones!

The bride tells me that there were over 1000 pictures taken, so yeah, there will be photos, and lots of 'em.
