plumtreeblossomAs I have no place to be today, I've been spending lots of time on the balcony. Oh, the joyful feeling of sunshine on my bare feet! The treat of eating lunch at the little table on the balcony while reading my book. Watching birds splash and flutter in the puddle on the neighbor's flat garage roof. I didn't even mind the baby bug that landed on my page.
For those not in New England, we've had a cold spring. Just this week I was wearing my heavy winter coat. Now it's warm enough that I wish I owned a pair of shorts (I really don't have any). I also wish I was at the zoo. Maybe sometime soon.
Well then, I've had 24 days of not having to work. I get one more, then it's off to the new job. So glad my final weekend is a warm and sunny one!
