beowabbit and I have tickets to Wicked on September 19. I saw it on Broadway lo these many years ago with Joel Grey and Idina Menzel and the whole original gang. I sing it in the kitchen, which is reason enough to go. It's playing at the Opera House for several weeks in the Fall, tickets still available.

pheromone just rang my doorbell to invite me out to the Somerville fireworks that are happening right now, which I can hear but not see. (Answering the door by yelling "Hello?" out the 3rd-floor window instead of coming down to open the door is a gracious medieval custom that deserves reviving, and I'm doing so). Unfortunately, I am vanguardcdk tonight, and have to go lock up the church after rehearsal, so no fireworks. I'm supposed to be there 4 minutes from now....*hyperspaces*
