Living Forest

I could never do written justice to Cirque du Soleil’s Varekai, which we savored last night. Imagine every conceivable color of a spectrum both light and dark, heavy and weightless, fearsome and mirthful. Dancing fireflies, falling angels, human beings bouncing like rubber balls. It left me in humble awe of the astonishing capabilities of the human body, and the dream-like reaches of creative genius.



This was a much needed escape, a few hours in a fantastical land of beauty. Things are very difficult for me right now on every level and in every sector. I can’t label what’s wrong because nothing, really, is right at this point in my life. A numerology reading over a year ago said that this time last year was supposed to be the lowest point in my entire life thus far. I could certainly believe it then, but I’m now feeling that the projection actually fell a year early, and the dark times are Now. I’m finding I can’t see ahead, which way, which direction or what any of them mean.

If I could make just one thing right and good in any sector – be it home, career, emotions, physical wellbeing, creativity or goals – even just that one crack in the wall would be like the spider I watched on my screen door, finally getting one leg’s secure footing on a difficult surface and pulling the others one by one after it.

Just one good thing, one good turn, one action as catalyst.

hang in there as best as you can. what keeps me going is the thought that i will never know what will happen tomorrow.

we should go drinking sometime soon. that's usually how i deal with my problems. :)
