The Kiss, one of the plays from our own mind-bogglingly butt-kicking festival, will be showcased in Whistler In The Dark company's FeverFest 2007 short plays festival at the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center August 22-25. I'm totally going, since it's right around the block from my workplace. Of course, no one can possibly beat our unbeatable Alyssa and Andy, but we might as well see them try! I'm interested in checking out the space, as well.

I'd like to go on the 22nd, which is a Wednesday and doesn't conflict with the Radio Drama auditions (this is also my sweetie's birthday weekend so I want to keep most of it open for him). The Arts Center is just a block from the Lechemere T stop, though if you're coming from Davis, the 89 bus is much faster. There are eat-y places around here, so we could do dinner before, or not.

Let me know if you'd like to join in and I'll make a group reservation.

I’d definitely be interested in seeing this, but the 22d is a free Tchaikovsky concert I’m planning on going to. Let me know if you end up doing it on a different day. Maybe we could get a group together on the 25th, and do a birthday dinner followed by the play or something.

Sure sweetie. I can let you know how it was, and if it's worth making time to go.

I just found out about a September production of Cabaret that my friend Lauren is in. Do you like that musical?

Oops, I forgot to put this under the local filter! I wish you could come to the T@F shows, too! Then Ben and [livejournal.com profile] daily_alice could meet. She's the littlest Firstie. :-)

WOW! is that the baby your theatre director had awhile ago that you wrote to me about? she's such a big girl. and she has her own LJ!!!

what a cutie pie.

that's funny that you have a filter. i was being sarcastic before, but it turns out that you DO try to avoid making non-local people feel bad ...

now i just feel sheepish.

It's actually 5 theatre groups, each contributing a short play. Might even be something we could get in on if they do it again next year. :-)

That'd be a good thing to keep on T@F's radar -- and possibly less ambitious than trying to hook up with Boston Theater Marathon...

(Alas, I will be out of town for these dates, so cannot join you. sniff!)

That's what I was thinking. There could be an opportunity in there.

Sorry you can't make it! :-(

I'm pretty definitely going on the 22nd, since I have auditions that week and it's also Jay's birthday weekend. I'd love the chance to see you!

I think it would be kind of surreal to see somebody else do *MY* play. That thing was my demented little baby for 3 months, and I loved every moment of.

At any rate, I would never see my play perfromed by other people before I performed it myself. Now that I'm sone with it *maybe* curiosity will get the better of me...
