◯ Mmm, tuna! Did you bring enough for me, too?

Perhaps I'm too biased to answer. Eating strongly noisome seafood near me is as bad as smoking near me. I'm likely to react violently in either case.

Just thinking about smelling tuna is making me want tuna. (I'm on your desk, eating your tuna sammich!)

The smell of canned tuna is one of the few things that will literally drive me from a room. It makes me physically ill.

I'm not fond of the smell of a tuna sandwich, personally, but I can live with it if I have to.

Last week someone heated up some kind of fish dish in the microwave near my space, and it was so pungently awful that the whole floor smelled for the rest of the day like unto a urinal that hadn't been scrubbed in a year. *gag*

I try to avoid eating anything at my desk because I still think "no food or drinks near the computer/terminals" and also I hate it when I spill stuff on the work. Given a chance, I prefer going to the lunch/break room. I don't usually mind if someone is eating at their desk though. I only think "it's unprofessional" if they are making a real mess and/or have no manners. Then again, there's always the special circumstance, like if the food is too tempting, or looks/smells gross, for example -- I don't think tuna fish sandwich qualifier for any of them. Also, now I'm curious, what the heck happened?

Oh nothing. I sometimes eat tuna sandwiches at my desk, and I wondered what popular opinion of the practice was!
