Today is the first day that I markedly noticed the sun going down earlier. The shadows at this time of day are different, and the sun's glare on the window across the street from my office is happening earlier. My favorite season is just around the corner!

It'll be a busy fall. One of the things I'll be doing is foley/sound effects for Tomes of Terror II, the next show by the Post-Meridian Radio Players. At PMRP shows, the foley artists work in view of the audience, so you can watch and find out how the sound effects are created. I got to do it last year in addition to voice acting, and I'm really excited that I was invited for another go. Performances will be October 29, 30, and 31, in Theatre@First's regular space. That's a Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so it won't conflict with any weekend parties. I don't even need to ask -- you can definitely go. ;-)

We will also be finishing up recording of PMRP's Red Shift: Interplanetary Do-Gooder in the next few weeks, in which I voice several characters. Podcast ahead!

Oh, I was just curious to see it from the inside. It doesn't pay enough for me though -- I'd want like $50 a pop to do that, and the highest available to me was about $15. But it doesn't matter anyway, since my blog got rejected! My blog is set to block search engines (very much on purpose), and PPP doesn't allow that. But it was interesting to peek around inside!

gotcha. yup, you have to be indexed by google, and there are a lot of high paying offers around, just not always every day. you just have to keep checking. dude though even at $15 each, that's, let's see — $30 a day times 5 days times 4 weeks is $600 a month, if you wanted it ... that's more than half my mortgage!

tis' cool though. glad you looked around at any rate.

I should just cut and paste your post into my own lj to save time, as that's pretty much exactly what's going on in my life too.

Yay hot foley babes! It's going to be fun. And I'm looking forward to the Red Shift Gang getting together again. :-)

Wow! It's getting dark before 8pm nowadays.. Back in early July darkness wasn't until 9, or maybe even later. And you're only noticing it now? Hmm.. Maybe I'm just more sensitive to it, because honeslty I've noticed the days getting shorter since at LEAST the beginning of August. Alas, there's not much I can do to stop the evil progression of shorter days. :(

Well... except host a party! ;)

No, I hadn't really been paying attention. Then suddenly yesterday, I noticed!

Ahh, I guess I didn't take the "not paying attention" factor into account. Mea Culpa. ;)

Enjoy the rest of the summer while you still can!!!!
