Oh dear. I think the smell of the cinnamon broom is making the cats ill. I came home and they were huddled together on the floor in a draft stream from the open window, and if it's possible for cats to look green around the gills, that's what they look like. They wouldn't come to eat in the kitchen, where I have the broom hanging on the wall. That's a first. I knew cats hated perfume and flowery-smelling things, but I'd somehow figured something spicy wouldn't bother them.

What a shame, because it smells so delightful. But I guess I'd better put it away somewhere and only bring it out when company's coming. Poor things...

Oh, bummer! Poor kitties. That hadn't occurred to me. Do you have someplace you can put it where the smell won’t get out? I wonder if enough of the smell would stick around (and little enough of the smell would get into the kitchen) if you had it out on the porch.

Still haven’t hung mine up yet.

*Smooches!*

Hi sweetielove. I wrapped it in two plastic garbage bags and put it in the closet. I miss the aroma, but the kitties are perking up. And Rowley's eyes aren't watering anymore.

I just got home from the recording studio. (We finished Red Shift!) So sleepy now! *kiss*
