Angels in The Architecture
Aug. 25th, 2004 02:58 pmJust today I was really noticing how lovely the architecture is here downtown where I’m working, just off Boylston near Copley. The building across the street from mine has elegant spires at it’s crown, and when I walk along Boylston I see frieze work everywhere, gilded swans, gothic arches, and even gargoyles. There’s a delightful little farmer’s market just down the street that sells fresh produce, pies, homemade soaps and handcrafts. If it’s sunny tomorrow, I’ll bring my digicam and catch some of it on my lunch hour.
I found out yesterday that I am indeed still in the running for the job here (at a huge international publishing house). I’m more comfortable here than I have been at any of my jobs, including MITP. I want this job to go permanent very, very much.

I miss working in that area - both because of the area and because I miss the daily theater work. but I especially miss working there in the summer when the farmer's market is there...yum! Oh - and the free concerts on the square can be fun too!
