My Sweetie Has A Message For You

I'm feeling all shy and pigeon-toed about doing this, but my beloved
beowabbit wanted me to point my flist's attention to this non-locked post in his LJ wherein he is in the process of assembling a group Christmas/birthday present for me (it's not a surprise, obviously). Ordinarily I would demure, but he points out that our flists aren't the same, and indeed they only intersect at about 50%. So there you go, be one of my gift fairies if you like, but only if you like. :-)
I adore my darling man so much. This morning after breakfast, we had to say our temporary goodbyes since I'm leaving for Rochester tomorrow. I actually got misty-eyed, which doesn't usually happen. Maybe it was because I was thinking how much I'd love to spend Christmas Eve in his arms. But if all goes as planned, he'll be driving to Rochester on the 26th, where we'll spend the night. Then on the 27th we'll drive back to Boston. That will be my birthday, and I'm looking forward to spending the day riding along beside him, listening to NPR, and stopping for smooch breaks. (Okay, how many of you just threw up a little?)
XOXO

Actually, I LOVE it that you guys plan to stop for smooch breaks, but then, my tolerance for cuteness is very high where the two of you are concerned. :-)
I'll be home (i. e. HERE) for the holidays, so if you want a larger group to celebrate your birthday with, I'd be happy to go out to dinner with you or something. My oven is on the fritz, so I can't offer to bake you a cake, but I could take you OUT for cake!

Date: 2007-12-21 12:30 am (UTC)Happy birthday for the 27th. It's 8 years on that day since my accident. But he can tell you about that!
There used to be a clothing-optional piece of paradise called Steph's Pond about a half hour drive east of Rochester. I used to drive up there from NJ for a weekend occasionally. They had a wood-fired sauna for those c-o-l-d winter nights. Bliss!
Oh, we haven't met of course. Maybe someday... You might find me in your lover's pictures of my hometown, Durban.
