I'm an Independent and plan on voting thus I had to chose "other".

Of course I live in MA so my vote doesn't mean much. The state will go with the Democratic candidate no matter who it is. The only real question is what percentage Nader will get. ;)

I hope not. They tend to vote on who will give them the most catnip...

War On Drugs, anyone?

I'm with all the other non-party-affiliated people who will vote for whichever Democrat gets the nomination.

Oh, so that’s what the famous “stimulus package” was all about!

Well, everyone *says* that "my vote doesn't matter much, MA will go with the Dems" but the truth is that at least in the last couple of elections we had almost half of the votes going Republican and we could have just as well ended up with our state offering even more support for the idiot in charge today. Just look around and see how many cars have a shrub bumper sticker.

Not, mind you, that I'm happy with the 2-party system we have, but in my mind, if the Republicans get another turn or two in the presidency, it will be a 1-party system, mark my words. The time to start "sending the message" that we want more than a 2-party system is when we have removed the current leeches from the office, which is at least 4 years away now.

We now return y'all to our scheduled programing, thanks. ;-)
