Pretty good, but wishing it wasn't so damned hot as I didn't bring lunch and will have to go outside and get something later on.

Have you tried the new cafe that opened on Main Street in Kendall? It's really good!

I've gotten chai there. I'll try lunch there soon. I went to Zigo for chicken salad w/ cranberries, etc.

I'm cold. The derned a/c in this office building is down to 74, and with me wearing shorts and short sleeved shirt, I'm just freezing and wearing my at-work-I'm-cold-sweater. Drinking hot tea.

Eeek. Yeah, I usually keep a blazer at work for those times.

Oh, yes! I remember it well - freezing in July -- I actually got pneumonia a couple of times sitting in sub-arctic AC temps at work for 8+ hours a day. Air conditioning is such a blessing -- so WHY do people have to set it on "overkill"?

Busy. I'm trying to coordinate the annual office summer outing. It involves dealing with about four different vendors and two licensing boards. *sigh*

We're doing it at the Community Boating area right by MGH. So we just need to walk across the river, which is nice. The past couple of years, we've done Thompson Island, which involves T-ing to the dock and then a half-hour boat ride each way. But the Thompson Island people take care of all catering and such for us. This is way more labor-intensive for me.

Oh, and the bosses thought it would be fun to order t-shirts for this year. Yeah, fun. :P

Okay, I'll end my rant now. It will be fun, and I will enjoy myself, and the hard work will totally be worth it.

massively hung over (got carried away with the wine at dinner last night and paying for it now) and unbelievably busy here at LS. I'm paying the price for taking two days off last week.

Thanks for asking!

As my british coworker who apparently has been living in Southie just a wee bit too long calls it, "Knackuhhed.".

Knackuhhed = knackered, which is very very tired, or how a gelding feels right after its knackers have been cut off.

So now you know.
