So Much To Read

I am woefully behind on my f'list because I've been geeking on the news sites and the two Obama LJ communities I help moderate (join the shiny new president_obama!). I just don't think I'm going to be able to catch up, what with work and all, so if something important is happening in your life (other than having THE BEST PRESIDENT-ELECT EVAR), point me there.

People everywhere are pinching themselves. I see a lot of "Is this really happening?" kind of dazzled posts. It's completely joyful and I feel extremely lucky that this is happening during my lifetime.

For a child-free person, I'm insanely excited to have children in the White House again. The grunts and snarls of Bush and Cheney will be replaced by the sound of little girls' laughter.

There I go, tearing up again. :-)
