Zack and Miri

As part of our delightful overnight date, beowabbit and I went to see Zack and Miri Make A Porno. This was easily one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time, but also very heart-warming. It was like an adult Bad News Bears of beginner amateur porn-making, without actually being porn proper. I won't give spoilers, but if you go see it, stay through the credits. I would happily see this again, which is seldom true for me with romantic comedies.

Trowa and I saw it on Friday night as well...agreed on all counts (though I am actually a fan of romantic comedies). :)

That credit sequence was hilarious. You could tell Brandon Routh was trying so hard not to start laughing hysterically!

I looked up the cast on IMDB.com when I got home. Turns out the actress playing Stacy (the girl with the little dog) is a real porn star, and this is her first mainstream movie role! She was great, I think, and hopefully this will lead to more for her. :-)

I agree, I bet a lot of laughs were had in the making of this movie.

Her list of movies was funny. (e.g., "Sex Trek: Where No Man Has Cum B4", "Dancing with the Porn Stars", "Camp Cuddly Pines Powertool Massacre", etc.)

It is such a Kevin Smith meets Seth Rogan movie. :-)
