Happy Thanksgiving

Since I know a lot of you won't be online tomorrow, I just wanted to take the opportunity to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it. I know some people are traveling, some are hosting, some are helping out at shelters, and some are just taking the day to relax. Whatever you're doing, may your day be filled with warmth and happiness.

I love this holiday. Though I'm a non-religious person, I think its very important that we be thankful for what is good in our lives, even if we don't know to whom or what, if anything, we should be grateful to. Not just on this holiday, but always. The day also marks the anniversary of the day
beowabbit and I were first introduced to each other, at surrealestate's Thanksgiving dinner in 2005. In this case, I know who to be thankful to. Lovin' on surrealestate, the birthday girl!

One other piece of gratitude stands out this year. Thanks to the voters of the United States of America, I have my country back. Thank you for my new President-elect, and for new directions for our nation.
