I spent yesterday dyeing costumes over at the church for the show, improvising because the dye didn't come with any instructions. I think one pair of the black leggings might need to be re-dipped, but there's plenty of leftover dye. Following that we had a skeleton crew rehearsal of the chorus followed by a beer at The Burren.

I don't know what it is about androidqueen's parties that brings out the wild creatures in everyone. My own parties are usually mellow little affairs, but hers are bacchanalian fiestas on various motifs. I have never seen a home bar with such an enormous liquor inventory before. I've been to about five of her parties, and at them I always, always get kissed and kissed well. Have more, androidqueen.

Today's dim sum outing didn't come together because organizer Lou was too exhausted from a long tech week at ART. Now I wish I had organized an impromptu alternate brunch. I'm craving both dim sum and Johnny D's incredible brunch menu. We'll have to do that soon.

Famished now, must pillage the kitchen.

I'm sorry I never made it over -- when I returned home, I was reminded that some friends were also having a party that I'd forgotten about. (A Kissing Party, in fact. :) I figured I'd stop by one then the other, but I got a late start and then time sorta ran away. I did actually pop in late in the night (or rather, early in the morning), as I could still hear music coming from the apartment, but when I popped by head in briefly, I saw not a soul I could identify, so just went home. Maybe next time, though. Thanks for the welcome!

probably next week. though frankly, we're all so exhausted, that we're seriously considering the idea of pizza, beer, and movie/dr. who, and saving the bacchanal for the week after.
