Is anyone doing anything for Halloween weekend? This is the first year that I don't have any parties lined up -- I usually have 3 or 4. And I have a costume adorable enough to make onlookers crumple to their all-fours. Is anything going on, or must we generate festivities out of thin air?

Games 6 and 7, if necessary, are Saturday and Sunday night. I was originally invited to a Halloween party Saturday but that's since been changed to going out to a bar just in case the WS is on.

Since you are now a baseball maven, is your costume a large red sock?

I've been having similar thoughts, and wondering whether to just do nothing. Well, except that I do have a couple of invites, but they don't call out to me.

I figure if I do go somewhere, I'll wear the same costume as I did at our Halloween party, if that motivates any invitations.. ;)

It occurs to me that bringing you along might make existing options look better, and I have no doubt it'd be okay to do. :) On the other hand, based on comment above, it looks like another option may be forthcoming.

Well, the whole weekend is Halloween, and we could party hop. Why waste sexy costumes on just one party? :-)

Oh for the days of trick-or-treating. I lived for it as a kid. I'm secretly jealous of the little goblins when I habd out candy.

the secret is to buy three types of candy...

1) crappy candy (a buck for 5 pounds), for the kids who are too old, really, to be trick-or-treating
2) decent candy for mostly everyone
3) really good candy for the really cute costumes... and if there's any left over, then gee, I'll just have to eat it myself!
