beowabbit's idea to go to a rare Thursday night Booty Vortex show at Johnny D's last night. A club show that starts at 8:00 PM is great for me because, folks, my days of 11:00 PM or midnight shows are over, even for weekends. We got there early to eat dinner and beat what we thought would be a big crowd. But it turned out that only a few handfuls of audience members showed up. We largely had Booty to ourselves and........beowabbit danced! This is usually not the case. Maybe it was the drinks we spent too much money on, or maybe it was the magic of disco. We had a great time though, and I really needed the relaxing dance break.
