The Difference a Day Makes
Apr. 16th, 2004 05:34 pm24 hours ago I was in a foul funk of a mood. Today I'm (to employ a Californiaism) completely stoked. A surprising wind of change brought some unexpected good fortune out of the near-blue. Specifically, it means the trip to China I've been gnawing my fists to go on for the last two years can finally happen, as soon as I want. I need to work it around several busy project periods for Theatre@First, but I'll find just the right time to go.
Also, within the next 3 or 4 weekends I’m going to LA to be with someone I'm close to, for a greatly needed mental health escape weekend. (whether I'm escaping to mental health or from it remains to be seen :-) That’s another trip that's been delayed too long.
Also #2 - I am now Vice President of Theatre@First. One-acts in the summer, and a certain play by a certain favorite author in the fall (I'll wait for our Artistic Director to announce that). Other projects too, but again I'll wait for the go ahead before any bean spilling. The '04 Season is looking fantastic.
Also #3 – Our house party is tomorrow! I missed the PeaPod order deadline today and will have to shop “manually,” but that's how it goes. Be there!
