Nothing like filling out an online "job application," writing a great cover letter, taking the mandatory IQ test, then falling for the "we will text you your score to enter here" thing, then finding out I'd just been subscribed to receive 3 texts a week at $9.99 each. Verizon Wireless customer support (who were excellent) helped me undo the scam subscription and block similar text scams in the future.

Job hunters be wary -- ROI Ready is a scam and advertises fake jobs in multiple career fields. I want to report it to Indeed.com, but haven't had time to figure out how yet.

Contact > Job Seekers > Report a job listing > Send us a message

and be sure to have the URL(s) ready of a few examples of the ROI Ready job listings to include in your message.

Pooh! Preying on the jobless and desperate is really low.

Disgusting. Infuriating. Can't think of anything stronger -- haven't had coffee yet.

What slime! Preying on people most in need of work. How dare they? We ought to bring back the stocks and pillory and put such people in them in the public square so that we can throw things at them. Disgusting!
