Back behind my dresser I found a Fujifilm disposable camera, all shots used. It was dated "Process by 2007-07." I have no clue whatsoever what is on it. Is it worth taking it to a developer, or is the film toast?
As long as it hasn't been too hot, temperature-wise, the pix should come out. We had some up to 10 years past date, and they were pix still worth keeping.
absolutely, give it a try. FWIW, Talis found several rolls of B&W that I had self-rolled into film cartridges way back in college (I bought bulk film, it was cheaper). WE had them developed, I think they came from my trip to Italy and Greece, back in 1981... there were some half-way decent shots, didn't seem to be harmed by longevity.
Go for it. As was noted above, the cooler it was kept, the less degradation there will have been. The primary issue will be color - heat damage is typically seen as odd tints to the image. Fortunately, you can now fix that fairly easilly by scanning the negatives (or just have it developed and scanned by the processor, with no prints made) and corect using photoshop or the gimp.
