Peppermint!
Jun. 4th, 2011 01:59 pmThe peppermint growing in my balcony garden tastes heavenly. I have a leaf in my mouth right now.
My idea is to make "garden peppermint ice cream" using pureed mint leaves as the flavoring (and coloring) The problem is, I have neither an ice cream machine nor a food processor. There's no room left to store things in our counterless, cabinetless kitchen. Anyone want to loan? You'd get some of the ice cream.
(BTW, I don't go to Baitcon, so I can't make the ice cream there.)

there's a video here which has a tip I hadn't used, of snipping the tip off the smaller bag, which is certainly easier than opening it to scoop : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3-OAwhIvU0
