Before I make a fool of myself, someone tell me how the name of Musician Psy is pronounced. (This is the Gangnam Style guy, for fellow un-hipsters). I would think it would be pronounced "sigh," but I'm often wrong about all kinds of things. How do you pronounce it when saying it out loud?

So far as I have heard his name pronounced in the media, it is indeed "sigh".

Sure, "sigh" like psychology or psycho, for which i think psy may be short.

Am also pretty sure it's pronounced like the English "Sigh" and like the "psy" in psycho.

The artist has explicitly said it's short for "Psycho", so pronouncing it as "sigh" makes sense.

I only heard about Gangnam for the first time last Friday. I still have not seen it.
