Polishing My Toenails at The Office

Anyway, off to New York tomorrow for the weekend. On the last trip there was snow on the ground. Now I'll have to dig into my summer wear and see what I have that I won't roast in. I must be part Muslim -- I so much prefer to have my arms and legs fully covered when possible. I hate shorts. While I'm in New York I need to look in the Indian and middle eastern shops for some garments that are lightweight and flowing, but with long sleeves.
I'm hoping we will have time to hit GreenFlea, and to take a spin through The 2005 Big Apple Barbeque Block Party. On Saturday night I think we are going to Vertex Gallery in Brooklyn to see BitShifter. Also hoping we'll get to revisit the beautiful Decibel Sake Bar that I love so much.
I'm sad to miss the T@F 80s party, but this was the the only weekend that worked for NY. I can't make 80s hair out of this rag-mop anyway. So, have fun all!

Date: 2005-06-10 05:32 pm (UTC)I would recommend salwar kameez (pants, tunic, and scarf ensemble worn in India). The fabrics are usually extremely light, and they are often incredibly beautiful. Comfy, too.
