A Good Friend Turns 40

Happy 40th to TokyoJVK, the friend from the other side of the planet who first opened up my world to international travel oh so long ago (well, 7 years). I don't know if he'll see this since we don't keep up with each other's blogs very well, but JK, if you're reading, lots of birthday love and happy memories (that I had the pleasure of recounting in minute detail in an e-mail last night). I hope your 40s are good to you, and that you stay as young at heart as you were the day I met you.
