A Bad Cat Mother

I accidentally left poor Rowley locked out on the balcony all day while I was at work. I thought he was in. When I came home, he heard my keys in the door and wailed, and I rushed to the balcony. He was positively hoarse from screaming all day. I feel just terrible. He did have a water source out there so he didn't become dehydrated, but it rained, and he had only a tiny chair for shelter.
He's back in and fed and is none the worse for the ordeal, but it definitely wasn't a pleasant day for him. That's never happened before, and hopefully it never will again. My poor Siamese Menace. :-(

once, our cat climbed up into the ceiling in the basement, (it was the panel kind like at elementary schools and some offices) and fell through the florescent light cover in the shower stall. he was locked in there until we got home. it was hard to keep from laughing, cause he did kinda do it to himself.

Date: 2005-06-23 02:02 pm (UTC)I was gone for about 12 hours. He had some water (rainwater that collected in a dish) so he was at least safe from dehydration. I'm just glad he didn't decide to jump!
