plumtreeblossomWe had a really helpful "Glass" rehearsal last night, even though we were missing Christina. Memorizing this material is not like memorizing ordinary play text, and we’re all feeling the challenge. But we spent so much of the night laughing at our own mistakes that it was impossible to get fed up or frustrated. We strip-mined a 1 lb. bag of trail mix, and we actually made some strong headway. We’ll get there.
I’ve had fun working with almost every cast I’ve been a part of, but it’s a rare treat to be working with two good friends who I knew before the onset of this play. While most intra-cast acquaintances on other shows tended to fade away after closing week, the friendships I made during R&G have been lasting and strong, and I’m loving the opportunity to once again work with these two delightfully crazy wildmen. Glass Lips to you both.
It’s looking more and more like we might be performing in the ArtBeat festival showcase. We just have to get that DVD in. News at 11:00.
