Where The Parties Never Stop

Many thanks to
dietrich and
imlad for the lovely soire they hosted last night. It was a large event, too many familiar faces to list all of them, and many new ones met. I finally got a chance to chat with
roozle, who I've seen at ten million parties but never had the opportunity to talk with. A good portion of the evening was spent in a big comfy group on the hosts' bed conversing the with gang, several from T@F.
trowa_barton fell into Bardolf mode and was a fine sommelier, bringing us glasses of wine.
mangosteen and I made tentative plans to abduct the host in the near future to share secrets of his Russian accent for our characters in the play. Many thanks for a wonderful time.

I joined the work day crew over at T@F this afternoon, managed to muck up
earthling177's serger, but otherwise enjoyed helping with costuming. Our fearless leader, Tech Director
lifecollage, is doing a brilliant job on her maiden voyage with T@F. I've realized on these workdays that I very much enjoy making hats. Buying a book or two on the milliner's arts might not be a bad idea. It's certainly a skill I could contribute to T@F and a lot of other projects.

It's exercise-walking weather. Yesterday I decided to walk to Union Square, a good hike with the incentive of Asian groceries to buy when I got there, but I missed a turn and ended up at McGrath Highway. I'm never on that side of the 'Ville and I didn't know that street signs haven't been invented there yet. I'll try again, but in the mean time, I plan to walk several times a week now that it's warm, on weekends and in the evenings after work. I'd like walking partners and buddies! I know
pheromone is ready, and anyone else is welcome to come hoofing with us, too.
It's 7:00 PM, and it's light outside! Goodbye dark of winter, hello long and lovely sunsets!
