Headhunters Have Surrounded Me...

...and I love me some headhunters. :-) 4 called, 5 e-mailed -- 9 different headhunters altogether, with two offers of position interviews already. Neither are in publishing however (one for an HR position, the other one doing I-don't-know-what at Gillette). I'll probably pass on both of these since I do want to stay in some sector of publishing. But, the rez has only been up for two days. Two days. Headhunters are the new Rock Stars. Now I don't know how I'll work out interviewing -- I'm being worked to the splintered, marrow-dripping bone at my current job. (But my real calling is Hyperbolizing).

Out of the blue today I got a nice chatty message from cometsong. He's doing well and loving St. Louis, busy shooting photos and working on the house. I sent him back lotsa luuurve from his T@F family back in the 'Ville.

Tonight was the first rehearsal for Hub Of The Universe radio drama group's upcoming, well, radio drama. Because I have a big role in Merry Wives and my acting platter is pretty full at present, I asked if I could try my hand at foley instead. I've always thought foley artistry would be the mostest coolest career ever -- you get to make noises for a living. I'll be trying it for the first time with this show, which goes up in October. Jello will be involved.
