plumtreeblossom: (in my shell)
The TV news feed thingy in the office elevator (aptly called "Captive Network") offered research results finding that to highly neurotic people, uncertainty is more stressful than a clearly negative outcome.

This is very frequently true for me, but I didn't know feeling that way earned one the label of "highly neurotic." I thought everyone felt that way. Clearly negative outcomes are certainly unpleasant to me, but the dominant emotion generated is grief, not stress. It is uncertainty that will send me to my grave with a stress-induced heart attack. How about you?
