Skunk is a pretty mild “bad”, if we’re talking about the smell that persists for a while after a skunk has sprayed. I’ve never had a skunk actually spray me, so I can’t speak to that. Months-old cat pee is definitely a worse “bad” than days-old skunk.
Turkey luncheon meat is a very mild “good”. Turkey roasting is a very strong “good”. Buffalo wings are almost as strong.
The smell of cilantro is completely neutral for me (or at least no worse than the smell of Windex). However, it immediately gets my hackles up because it is sometimes a harbinger of the taste of cilantro.
I wonder if this is why cilantro haters think it tastes like soap? Cilantro has a very sharp, distinct smell. I find it amongst the most pleasant of smells, personally. But I can imagine that if you remove the smell component, cilantro might not be as pleasant.
I put "neutral" for "skunk", but it's really not. When it's mild, I rather like the smell -- although I'm beginning to think that half of the "mild" skunk smells I'm smelling are actually fox smells. When it's strong, it's negative.
