Dark Haired Again

Last night I put a temporary (as in lasts-28-washes) dark coloring in my hair. It is basically the color you see in this icon, which is to say, dark reddish brown. The purpose of this was so that I don't have to listen to my family kvetch about my bottle-blond hair, which they loathe. So for a while at least, I am once again the brunette I was as a child.

I'm really liking it. It's remarkable how it changes the appearance of my skin, and takes away all that hormonally-caused ruddiness that I hate. It's fun looking down and seeing my curls in a different color. I wish I'd done this before the cabaret so I could have been a brunette Elphaba.

So beowabbit, you get to revel in the attentions of a dark vixen tomorrow night (me!).

Brown was the original color I was born with. So it always works with my skin tone.
