Huh. 137 pounds today, down from 140 last Monday. I'm not sure whether to count this as actual loss though, since my week's eating pattern was 3 days of low-carb, 1 day of Valentine's eat-what-I-want, and 3 days of being too sick to keep food down. Oh, and no exercise, other than a few perilous walks over the icy tundra of Davis Square and Quincy. I'm feeling better today and will be able to eat something, by the way.

I don't know how my body manages to make 137 little pounds look fat. 137 is featherweight, in the grand scheme of things. I know people my height who weight in the 150s but are smaller than me by the tape measure. I have exceedingly fluffy fat. Time to dance on the treadmill and pretend I'm in OK Go.

Feeling good about yourself is the most important thing. So I admire your strength to work on a healthy diet and try to get exercise. Our busy world and fast food lives make this very hard.

When I saw you on Sunday night of Arisia weekend I thought that your curves looked very sexy on you. You seemed very relaxed and OK with who you were and that come across.

I think every one of us would change things, but we need to remember that others always will see us differently than we see ourselves. I would not worry about the numbers (unless a doctor specifically tell you so), and work on feeling healthy. Know that others will (and do) find you attractive, I a believe you will too :)
