I have three rants to write on this fine morning:

WHY DO YOU PHONE SERVICE VENDORS THINK THE CEO WILL TALK TO YOU?

I'M SO VERY GODDAMN WEARY OF THE MIDDLE EAST AND EVERYONE IN IT.

MAYBE THAT NEW BIRD FEEDER ON MY PORCH WASN'T SUCH A GOOD IDEA, GIVEN THE EXTRAVAGANZA OF GUANO I'VE HAD TO CLEAN UP EVERY DAY.

But I don't have time, as there's work to do, and me to do it. So I leave you simply with the titles, around which you can construct in your own imagination my diatribes therein. Please include a bullhorn.

Ooh, sorry about the bird feeder! I wondered about that.

Maybe we can find you a bracket to mount on the porch so the bird feeder can hang outside, off the edge of the porch. Some would still get on the porch, but a lot less.

I heard a great interview on Fresh Air last night with somebody living in Lebanon. He was pretty cool. I’m not weary of him. :-)

*Loving smooches.*

I would *love* to hear an interview with someone living in the middle east who is sanely grounded, happy, progressive, peaceful, tolerant, and who values earthly life over godly death. I want to meet a middle eastern post-theist. (sorry to offend my religious friends, but that's what I really am feeling.)

The bird feeder -- yup, a Plan B is appearing to be necessary. I like your idea for a bracket mount. There was a huge bird party out there doing brunch this morning. They're very fun to watch, but the clean-up is a mighty chore.

*loves you so much*

Maybe you are looking for Lisa Goldman, then.

The Middle East the concert hall/restaurant? Or the big region with lots of sand?

Oh man, I forgot about that Middle East! No, that one is cool. :-)

Yeah, that region with lots of sand is pretty cool, but we should bomb the heck out of that Cantabrigian establishment!

You should look at the positive. I mean how often do you get to write the phrase "EXTRAVAGANZA OF GUANO" on an average day?

See? Silver linings everywhere... ;)

As long as I have my bird feeder, I have the power to create EXTRAVAGANZAS OF GUANO anywhere I want. I'm going to take it to DC and hang it on George Bush's veranda.

Can you hang George Bush on his veranda, too?
