House Cooling

plumtreeblossomI dragged my guitar and percussion toys over to Benjamin's house cooling party last night. I sang with Lou and Rob, and had some of the red wine I brought. I only stayed until about midnight (I'd been up since 5:30AM that morning) so I left the musical instruments for the heartier late-nighters to play with. Now I'm heading over to gather them and see if any good yard sale items are left.
It was fun, but I truly hate when friends move away.

Update: He had been up too late to get things rolling for the yard sale, so I helped clean up the dishes and bottles, and we posted ads for the yardsale tomorrow. I met his parents (actually 2 of his 4 parents). God, how incredible it must be to have parents that cool. They're the kind of people I could totally be social friends with, and I've never thought that about any other parents of friends or SOs before. No wonder he turned out so cool himself, being raised by such coolness.
But anyway, yard sale tomorrow at Jamin's. Here's the CraigsList ad:
