I tried washing my hair with Dr. Bronner's soap, because the label says you can. Big mistake, heeding a soap label that also claims you can use it as a contraceptive and a laundry detergent. Even after using conditioner, it left my hair with a fried, wiry texture. It has sort of a gummy residue on it, and it's hard to get a brush or comb through it. Ack. I guess I'll have to get back in the shower and wash it again with normal shampoo.

Apparently you didn't dilute enough?

Eep! Yeah, soap is bad for hair no matter what the label might say.

Condition! Condition! OK!

Perhaps the problem is that you didn’t rub “always toward the heart”. :-) Lovin’ you!

Rise with vinegar, just regular white distilled vinegar. It does wonders for removing residue!

Yeah . . . um . . . I love Dr Bronner's, true, but CAN wash your hair with it != SHOULD wash your hair with it.

Now, how exactly is the contraceptive function supposed to work? I think that I've seen that on the bottle, and I've, er...wondered.
