Of course, I'll probably hear the same thing...

My whole point is that here is a devout Christian, and Born-Again at that, whose life even at age 80 is devoted to working for peaceful humanitarian solutions to problems both global and local. I think he's lived a beautiful and inspiring life, and I'm glad he's still at it.

Date: 2004-11-10 04:01 pm (UTC)Rutherford Hayes' museum was on the same grounds as his gravesite, and not only was it eerily cool seeing his gravestone but the black metal perimeter gates were taken from the White House when his term ended. The Hayes center also included the official presidential "car," or coach to be more precise. I have a picture of it somewhere.
