internet failure

We essentially have no internet at the house, and I'm posting this from my Blackberry. We don't know if its router, cable or what. I bought a new router today and CDK will try it tonight. In the mean time, email is NOT the best way to reach us at ALL. Call or text. This was the worst week for this...

Squirrels have a bad habit of chewing through coaxial cables. If the signal degrades, you will have poor connectivity.
It also just rained a lot, and you might be suffering from infiltration of your coaxial cable.
The only way to resolve the problem is to call the cable company. They have a device that easily detects whether the signal is being degraded.
