Being purely honest here: I'm surprised you're asking twice. I know you don't like your picture taken -- I respect that completely and would never breech your boundary. But I don't usually enjoy having my picture taken, either, unless I've asked someone to for some reason, or if I've put myself in a situation where I give blanket permission to be photographed, such as being in a play. Yours and my reasons for disliking being photo'd are (I'm certain) extremely different. But I would be dishonest if I didn't share that I get a little twitchy when someone asks for pics when I didn't freely offer them. I almost didn't post this post because I was afraid of requests for pics. All I wanted to do was describe my happiness with my haircut in words. I feel sad when my friends (and you are my friend!) seem not to trust my words and want photo documentation instead.
Can we agree not to ask for pics of each other, and instead enjoy each others verbal descriptions of things when we don't want to post pics? It would be so much happier!
