The Motorola Droid is the absolute worst "smart" phone I've ever had, and I rue the day that I ever ordered it. It doesn't work as a phone because of the dead spots every 3 feet. It doesn't work as a camera because of the circular prompts that never let you send. Absolutely NOTHING works the way it's supposed to, and it is a doucheful and impractical expensive bling "phone" that I regret ever touching. I want to stomp it to powder.

I miss my useful Blackberry so very much.

Atrix? Mine is quite lovely, though it does confuse the iPhone users in the house.

Now be honest. What do you *really* think about this phone?

I have a Blackberry and would much rather be in Android. I wonder if we can trade. Probably not since I don't think you're on T-mobile, otherwise we could just swap sims!

It's ancient and you might need to replace the battery (cheap), but you can have my T-Mobile G1 if you want it. I'd been holding onto it as a spare but at this point if my G2 died I'd probably see what I could get from T-Mobile for free.

Sounds to me like you have a defective model and should return it for a refund or replacement.

After two years of suffering with Android-based HTC Wildfire, my contract was finally up and I could dump it in favour of an iPhone. Wow, what an amazing difference.

I feel your android-buggyness pain. I'd say call and complain to T-Mobile, see if they'll let you change, or help you in some way to get out of your phone nightmare!
