Thanksgiving and BenBen

For the first time in our relationship, beowabbit and I are going out of town for Thanksgiving; heading to North Carolina to visit the out-laws (Jay's awesome family). We'll be gone probably Tuesday through Sunday of Thanksgiving week. vanguardcdk will also be making his annual Thanksgiving trek to Nebraska, leaving our house humanless.

I have money to give to someone(s) who would be able to come feed Dear Benjamin kitty and give him some attention. He is a gentle, sweet tuxedo cat in his teens. He is healthy and needs no meds or sub-Q or anything like that -- he just wants his noms and scritches. This is too much of a task to ask as a favor, hence I'm willing to pay a friend or a professional to do it.

Alternately, if anyone not as local is looking for a free Somerville base for Thanksgiving week, staying at the house is also a possibility. That worked out well several Christmases ago when jimmystagger took up residence.

Seeking leads or friends looking for some extra $$.

I am happy for you that you are going to spend Tday with the outlaws. On the other hand, I am sad I will not get to join your orphan dinner!

Don't worry, there will be many orphan T-day dinners in the future!

If you wanted, you could come over and have kitty orphan dinner with Benjamin!

This is something that I could possibly do for you, if you are interested. I am unsure if I could do the first day or two of your stay away, or if I could the hours would be strange, but we could discuss.

I have done this a number of times and still do. You live relatively close to me so getting there would not be difficult. Let me know? Extra $ would be a happy thing.
