This photo is from Sunday dinner at Jim's. On the plate is the amazing sauce and fresh pasta we made by hand (actually by roller). Jim's take-no-prisoners sauce recipe made a huge potful, loaded with sauted mushrooms (me loves mushrooms) and peppers. On the side is my demi-famous 3-layer garlic cheese bread. Believe it or not, it was the first time I've ever helped make pasta from scratch. It's an intricate operation, but well worth the effort when the fetuccini finally comes streaming out of the cutter. That sauce took hours, but umm yeah. :-) I brought some of it home, and it won't go to waste.

This wasn't at Lou's (they didn't have one last weekend). We just cooked our ownselves over at Jim's. Call him up and go have some of that pasta and sauce! There's plenty left over.

I'm guessing there will be the regular Sunday Dinner at Lou's this week. Hoping so, anyway. :-)

That is indeed an extremely nice picture. And the food doesn't look bad either... :)

That's one of the first portraits I've taken with my new lens. Yay for a canon 50mm 1.4f lens. My camera takes sweet pictures, when I get lucky.

Mare is a really good subject for photos.

And the food was damn tasty, if I do say so myself.

I can see it now: "Cooking With Mare"

Can I guest star? Can you see the Rowly and Skunky t-shirts?
